Welcome to doctorbrucehoffman.com (the "Site"), operated by Dr. Bruce Hoffman, Psychologist ("Dr. Hoffman," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Informational Purpose Only
   The Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is intended to constitute psychological evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. Use of the Site does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional relationship between you and Dr. Hoffman. A clinical relationship is established only after a formal consultation, intake process, and mutual agreement to begin care, in accordance with New York State law and applicable professional standards.

2. Not a Crisis Service
   The Site is not monitored in real time and is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, having thoughts of harming yourself or others, or are in immediate distress, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. New York City residents may also contact NYC Well at 988 or text "WELL" to 65173.

3. Eligibility
   The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age, or who are accessing the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. Acceptable Use
   You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Site. You agree not to:

Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation

Rediscover Your Strength." brand messaging — is the property of Dr. Bruce Hoffman, Psychologist and/or Hero Pro Tools and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
   You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not modify the content and you retain all copyright and proprietary notices. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, or creation of derivative works — is prohibited without prior written consent.

6. User Submissions
   Any information you submit through the Site, including through contact forms, email, or any interactive feature, is governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you represent that the information is accurate, that you have the right to submit it, and that the submission does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
   Please do not submit clinical, diagnostic, or other sensitive personal health information through website forms or unsecured email. Standard email and website forms are not encrypted and are not appropriate channels for the transmission of Protected Health Information.

7. Third-Party Links and Content
   The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including review platforms (such as RateMD, Vitals, WebMD, Three Best Rated, and the Better Business Bureau), social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube), embedded videos, and other external resources. These links are provided for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, services, or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's terms and policies.

   Testimonials, reviews, ratings, and recognitions displayed on the Site reflect the personal experiences and opinions of individual clients, family members, and third-party rating organizations. They are not guarantees, promises, or predictions of the results any particular individual will experience.    The Site and all content, materials, information, and services provided on the Site are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.     You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dr. Bruce Hoffman, Psychologist, and his employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the Site shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brooklyn, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability
    If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement
    These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dr. Bruce Hoffman, Psychologist regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
